Explanation
ESİT RW railway scales are made of fully electronic weighing equipment and pit-mounted steel weighbridge(s) embedded under the rails. RW's design is based on the weight of the railway engine, which will cross over the platform, and its dynamic effects, and the scale has a robust static build that can withstand heavy duty conditions.
Railway wagons are stood and weighed on the scale. Since the wagons are connected to each other, the length of the weighbridge must suit the wagon lengths. In order to provide a weighing solution for all types of wagons, ESİT's RW railway scales are produced in various lengths and with single or double bridges. In double bridge scales, weighbridges can weigh wagons both individually and collectively, which enables weighing of wagons in different lengths.
